Come Sit Under the Grow Lights With Me a While

Come Sit Under the Grow Lights With Me a While

Hiya Kids,

Another month gone by and here we are looking at spring right in it's eyeballs. Spring, the season of transformation and growth. A time for new beginnings!

How many of you have little seedlings leaning towards grow lights stacked along all the available surface in your house?

I have several shelves dedicated to the buggers. High up and away from the cat because he is an agent of chaos and will do everything in his power to destroy the wee things.

I love going to visit them to see how big they've grown overnight but the darn lights hurt my eyes awful badly so I have to look upon them in much the same way people would have looked upon angels in the old testament.

You know, it's always interesting to look back on your own journey to try and pinpoint your own growth. It's hard to see it in the short term, unlike seedlings that grow rather rapidly in their little containers and often under ideal conditions, but it's there nonetheless!

You can and should remember that even though our own journeys are not easy to track at times, there is always movement along the path. Always growth.

Let's take this opportunity to reflect and ask ourselves some questions about this:

  • How do you see your own journey?
  • What are you proud of most?
  • How do you challenge yourself without overburdening yourself?
  • What is something you find to be a bit too challenging? Is there any way to make it easier to manage in the future?

Write down your answers and see what you come up with.

And here's one more question for you. How do you feel after taking some time and reflecting for just for yourself?

It's easy to get wrapped up in trying to justify our own existence through milestones. In having to prove something to someone else to show your worth you are taking yourself out of the picture. Recenter yourself in the narrative and know that your journey, your existence is not something that needs justification.

You are enough just as you are.

Keep growing!

Love,

The Goat
